Hokitika Gold Rush 150 is a year long celebration commemorating the 150th anniversary of the founding of Hokitika. There are many events planned to celebrate the birth of this fabulous local town.
"Driftwood and Sand" for short, is a summer celebration of art on the Hokitika beach. Held annually in late January, participants are invited to express themselves using any beach materials.
Around Brunner is a 130km sealed circuit cycle ride taking you through some of the most stunning scenery the West Coast of New Zealand has to offer.
The course will cover 30kms and be a four stage race starting from the Ghost Lake Hut and finishing at the Lyell.
