The West Coast Whitebait Menu Challenge is your opportunity to sample this world renowned delicacy when you visit the Coast between August and October 2011.
Restaurants and eating establishments up and down the Coast are participating in the Whitebait Menu Challenge. They will be vying to see who has the best whitebait dish in the West!

As you visit a restaurant or eatery and enjoy your whitebait meal, simply text to vote for that establishment and you could win a copy of the book “Me’a Kai: The Food and Flavours of the South Pacific” by Robert Oliver with Tracy Berno and Shiri Ram. This book was recently voted the best cookbook in the world for 2010 at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in Paris.
