A special part of NZ, West Coast of the Southern Alps

Author: West Coast Tourism

In the process I’ve spent several days each month in Greymouth on the West Coast. I’ve made the trip from my home in Martinborough, an hour from Wellington, by air into either Westport, Nelson, Hokitika or Christchurch, taken the TranzAlpine rail and driven the Arthur’s Pass several times. I’ve met some great people who are building their businesses on the West Coast. It’s been really satisfying to talk to them about their plans and hopefully offer some useful advice in return. My colleagues here warned me that once you come here it’s hard to escape. They’re right. This is a special part of New Zealand and I’ll be back! Adi Christie.
